Hi, my name is Mel, and I'm nineteen years old. I don't want to put in any personal details here besides my name but that should be enough.

I've always been into Queer as Folk but I've never really gone online to look for stuff until recently. I got a livejournal for it, too, mainly so I can keep monitoring the communities I've already found and maybe post myself. I love Brian and Michael together, but I can also stand Brian and Justin. My favorite character has to be Melanie, and being her namesake is the least of the reasons why I love her. ;) Brian Kinney comes a close second.

This is all relatively new to me, actually. If you friend me I'll likely friend you back, unless you're from real life, in which case, I'm not really Melanie. Haha.

Anything else, well. Hm. I can't think of anything else to say. I'm looking forward to meeting friends via livejournal, and god that sounds so elementary but, well, whatever.
